Westpoint Development is a firm believer in a strong pre-construction program. We have saved our clients thousands of dollars by analyzing different types of materials, equipment, processes and methods prior to beginning construction. We will assist the Architect, Engineers and other members of the design team with constructability reviews during the design process. We will review the specified material for the project and identify any substitutions that create savings without sacrificing quality or function, modify cost model and scope of work to meet, or beat budget expectations. We will seek the advice of all parties involved within a subcontractor trade, for input from them in regards to additional cost saving suggestions.

As soon as the preliminary design drawings are sufficiently complete to allow us to obtain pricing on different portions of the work, we begin arriving at a preliminary budget. As the design drawings are developed and finalized, we can arrive at a finalized Construction Cost. The overall estimating time frame of the project both preliminary and final, allows Westpoint to obtain the best possible construction price per square foot. This is provided to you the client by Westpoint at little to NO CHARGE.
Our growth and continual success is based on hiring and retaining the best people in our business. You can be sure of working with commercial contractor professionals who know how to avoid potential problems before they start. We pre-qualify subcontractors who submit bids to make sure they are capable of achieving the work specified, that they are financially sound, and they have the manpower to meet the schedule outlined. Once the request for proposals have been issued, each trade will have a time in which they are to turn in their proposal. At that time, Westpoint Development, along with our team members and the Owner, will jointly decide which subcontractor(s) is best to perform work on the project.
